Check the reservoir regularly. Refill frequency depends on your plant and its environment. Read our self-watering care guide.
Choosing System + Wick only? You can add our soil and decorative stones starter pack. It is already included with either plant option.

See when your plant needs a refill
The visible reservoir makes water checks simple. Refill frequency varies with your plant, its light and the season.
Choose your plant, find its place
Choose Ficus benjamina or Philodendron Birkin, then find a bright spot with indirect light. Plant options include soil and decorative stones.
A thoughtful gift with room to grow
Sculpted glass in Crystal Clear or Midnight, with planting guidance to help you get started.
Living design, everyday care
Living design, everyday care
Enjoy your plant, check the visible reservoir and watch it grow. Echo makes watering easier to follow without removing the need for care.
Light, moisture and air around the roots all matter. Use a suitable growing medium and follow the planting guide for your chosen plant.
The wick connects the lower reservoir to the growing medium. Keep stored water below the planting chamber and check the level regularly.
A little living design
Give someone a quiet moment of green. Choose the system on its own or add a Ficus benjamina or Philodendron Birkin with a starter pack.
Plants naturally vary, and the included planting guide helps the recipient create their own display. Check the plant-delivery states before ordering a gift.
Your questions, answered
A wick draws water from the lower reservoir into the growing medium. Correct wick placement, a suitable growing medium and enough light all matter. Keep stored water below the planting chamber; self-watering does not mean a plant cannot be overwatered.
Check your own setup regularly. The time between refills depends on plant size, light, temperature and season. Monitor it at home before relying on the reservoir while travelling.
Choose Ficus benjamina or Philodendron Birkin in the plant selector. Each plant option includes one plant, soil and decorative stones. Plant options ship to QLD, NSW, VIC and ACT only. System + Wick only does not include a plant or starter pack.
Each plant grows differently, so size, shape and foliage will vary. Styled photos show display ideas; accessories are included only where listed. Multiple plants of the same variety may look similar.
For Ficus benjamina or Philodendron Birkin, choose a bright spot with indirect light and avoid cold draughts or harsh direct sun. A shelf or desk needs enough natural light for the plant.
Check the reservoir and growing medium regularly, wipe dusty leaves and inspect for pests. Follow any treatment or fertiliser label. Read our care guide or send us photos if you need help.
